The use of the seal is not an endorsement by HR Certification Institute of the quality of the program. It means that this program has met HR certification institutes criteria to be pre-approved for re-certification credit.
The Leadership Development Cycle:
Assess: The Edge skills assessment will provide a detailed picture of the strengths and needs of managers and leaders. This assessment validates knowledge through critical core competencies, skills and behaviors.
Interpret: Knowing the strengths and needs of managers and leaders is the first step in determining the coaching and developmental requirements needed to address competency gaps. The results of the assessment will provide a clear picture of each leaders strengths and developmental needs.
Plan: Creating a tailored performance plan and identifying learning opportunities is the next step in the managers and leaders development.
Blended Learning: One component of learning is an e-learning system. The leadership courses include 15 online courses concentrating on interpersonal and business related skills. Each course correlates directly to the assessment competencies in the KnowlEDGE for Leaders assessment and the EDGE 360 for Leaders assessments.
Another training resource is the Edge video collection. The training courses are a 4 hour facilitator trained course that uses videos to assist the learners by using real life scenarios.
Apply: Learning is a continuous process with measurable results. To become a truly great leader it is necessary to continue to pursue new information and self development. We want to align knowledge and training with the organizations business strategies.
Lead and Sustain: The 360 assessment process provides each leader with a multi-rater picture of his/her performance as perceived by others. Aligned with the core competencies found in the KnowlEDGE Assessments, the 360 report includes a knowledge performance grid, which incorporates the learner's skill knowledge and perception data, providing leaders with the most comprehensive individual profile available.
